Get ready for the exhilarating IPSF 2024, the most anticipated four-day sports extravaganza in the Texas-Oklahoma region of Syro Malabar Diocese of Chicago! This fabulous  event unites eight vibrant churches in a display of fellowship, athleticism, and community spirit. With an impressive roster of 1,800 participants, the competition will be fierce across 16 diverse categories. Expect the stands to be bursting with energy as over 5,000 attendees come together to cheer, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories. Witness sportsmanship, camaraderie, and faith converge in an extraordinary celebration of talent and unity. “ENVISIONING A VIBRANT COMMUNITY WHERE THE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP MEETS THE HEART OF THE SYRO-MALABAR HERITAGE, STRENGTHENING BOTH BODY AND SOUL, WITH EVERY PARISH IN THE TEXAS/OKLAHOMA REGION AS A BEACON OF HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT”

The Purpose

  • To provide a platform for all members of Syro-Malabar Parishes in the Texas/ Oklahoma Region to discover, develop and promote skills in sports and games, and to recognize outstanding sportspersons in the region.
  • To build friendship and harmony among families of same faith and traditions, and create avenues for broader cooperation between member families, parishes and most importantly the young generation.
  • To inculcate pride in Syro-Malabar heritage and to ensure continued practice of its traditions.
  • To promote physical activity and highlight the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle for a well-balanced spiritual and personal life as a Syro-Malabar Catholic.
  • To transform Syro-Malabar Parishes as a destination for overall physical, psychological and spiritual development for its members, aligned with the vision of Parishes becoming the ‘second home’ for its members.
